Oluseyi, founder of the A Recipe 4 Happiness brand, which includes AR4H Media and the UNORDINARY ART blog, is passionate about beauty in all her forms. Although she knows beauty is obviously subjective and most definitely in the eye of the beholder, Oluseyi shares her personal opinions of beauty, art and creation particularly when she finds soemthing society might deem as weird or unacceptable. These are the things she perceives as WONDERFUL.
After many years of being one of the living dead, she reconnected with her dreams and creativity with help from the Artists Way by Julia Cameron, FIVE rhythms dancing and various "self help and spirituality" tools that helped her remember how to allow her Inner child and creativity to be expressed.
A talented artist in her own right, she has a keen eye for detail and a desire to one day create outstanding artwork. Oluseyi seeks out fabulous street art as she embarks on her random "Abrahamic-Walks". When there is street art to be discovered Oluseyi often undergoes an internal battle between the fear of being in a slightly dodgy (and often smelly) backstreet location where the best street art can be found, and her desire to engage with something stunning. In sharing what she finds she is offering images which may change their perception of what beauty is, what art is and potentially encourage discussion about how we use our spaces, and engage with our creative urges to alter those spaces in meaningful and interesting ways.
Her love for body art has been a gentle love affair for many years, fuelled by a recent image rendered by an artist who superimposed tattoos onto an image of Marilyn Monroe. Although Oluseyi only has two small tattoos, and because of her newly lowered pain threshold won't be having any more done, she has a mild obsession with women who have tattooed "sleeves". article As she spies a particularly stunning piece of body art, approaches the (usually mildly amused and bewildered) person (usually women) armed only with her infectious smile, and trusty iPhone.
Oluseyi is an avid event attender, and will attend the opening of an interesting looking envelope if she thinks it could yield a few good iPhone snaps, a decent blog article and some interesting people to talk to so please do forward her and invites and evento for her calender. Especially if it involves Street and/or Body Art.
